Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Piper Mckay developed a passion for the Scottish Bagpipes from a young age.
Edinburgh has played centre stage in the World of Bagpiping over the last few centuries, most famously, Edinburgh Castle, School of Piping, where the World famous Scots regiments passed through, en-route to graduating as some of the finest Pipers of the World.
Piper Mckay was taught by the very best Scots Guards Pipe Majors as well as numerous distinguished Pipers including twice World Piping champion, Roddy McLeod MBE.
A true professional in the World of Piping, Piper Mckay received a distinction for Piping from the official Piping school of Scotland, a truly prestigious achievement.
He performs as seen here, playing a set of stunning full Silver McCallum Bagpipes and performs in full dress, all handmade by the very best tailors in Scotland.
